acv

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) has been a revered health tonic for thousands of years.
It’s is one of the oldest, most powerful, home remedies that’s ever existed, and yet most folks today have no idea about it’s Self Care healing powers.
Made from nothing more than chopped apples, filtered water and organic cane sugar, it’s the 3-4 week fermentation process that causes the formation of a compound known as “acetic acid”, which is the main active nutrient that delivers so many healing qualities.
With regular small doses of ACV in your diet, you’ll increase healthy stomach acids, improving digestion because the extra acid breaks down the food more quickly.
It’s also a process that restores pH balance and ‘good’ bacteria in your gut that helps to prevent a long list of ailments that all begin because of poor diet and digestive issues.
ACV is a powerful healing tonic for:
• Relieving Heartburn;
• Preventing Acid Reflux;
• Healing Food & Breathing Allergies;
• Increasing Metabolic Rate;
• Burning Fat;
• Suppressing Appetite;
• Ridding Colds & Coughs;
• Overcoming Muscle Cramps and;
• Lowering Blood Sugar Levels.
Daily Tip #1: Add 1 Tablespoon of ACV to a glass of warm water first thing in the morning before you eat (add a teaspoon of raw honey to taste if required).
OR
Daily Tip #2: Before each meal, add 1 teaspoon of ACV to a small glass of warm or chilled filtered water and drink, or add 1 teaspoon to a raw green salad together with extra virgin olive oil and eat prior to your main meal.
If you experience regular stomach or digestive problems, by following either of these simple protocols, you should notice a big improvement even within just a couple of weeks of consistently doing this.
Another wonderful “side-effect” of following this daily remedy, is that it will bring a healthy, rosy glow to your skin complexion that you probably haven’t seen in years.
ACV can also be very effective applied topically to skin blemishes, in particular, warts.
Try this for healing warts: Soak an organic cotton ball in ACV before bed and then apply it to the effected area with some sticky plaster. Leave it on overnight (or for 24 hours at a time if possible). It may swell and throb, then start turning black within the first 1-2 days, but stick with it and you should see the wart disappear within a couple of weeks.
Oh and one final handy tip…
One of my favourite uses for Apple Cider Vinegar is for the purposes of removing pesticide residues from “non-organic” fruits and vegetables before preparing or juicing them.
Years ago I learned from the late Dr. Norman Walker – who was one of the first to create a juice machine using hydraulic, cold-press technology called the “Norwalk” – how to identify through spectral analysis, the chemical residues on the surface area of plant foods.
He demonstrated to me how Apple Cider Vinegar can be cut with water to be used as a “vege-wash” to remove all traces of pesticides on fruits and vegetables. I was blown away by what he showed me and to this day, it’s a method I use and recommend to rinse produce before eating, if you can’t get your hands on locally sourced, organic.
Vege Wash
Add 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar to a sink filled with 2-3 litres of clean chilled water and then swish your produce around in this mix for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it off and storing or preparing it.
Where do you get great quality ACV?
Be sure to always use organic, raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. The cloudier the better!
There are some easy recipes available on the internet for doing this yourself at home, or simply buy it from my store where we stock one of the best brands on earth.
